A Little Background on the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority…
On April 17, 1893, ten women at Lombard College in Galesburg, Illinois joined together to form the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, which would later grow to become one of the founding fraternities of the National Panhellenic Conference. One of the members of the young organization even authored the National Panhellenic Creed. Dedicated to the personal growth of women, their vision was to encourage members to realize their potential. The aims of this organization center on the virtues of sisterhood, leadership, knowledge and service to the community. Today, Alpha Xi Delta has over 140,000 initiated members in 113 chapters across the country, all of whom are proud to showcase their membership on great Alpha Xi Delta merchandise.
