Joe asked me about 5 years ago, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” I said, “working with you.” So we made it happen. I left behind a 15 year advertising career to join Greek Gear in 2007. It’s good to finally be the client! Plus, I love what I do. It’s cool to put new products in front of our ever-changing Greek audience and get instant feedback (something I never got in the ad business). I also get to play with some interesting machinery…direct-to-garment printers, engravers, heat presses, etc. It’s a bit like being in a very cool toy store…with no parents around.

So the lunch scene is not exactly what I’m used to, but I’ve come to love the Italian BMT at Subway. Oh yeah, and now I get my t-shirts at a pretty good price.
