Great alternative to lavaliere

I love my lavaliere but sometimes I want to wear a different style necklace. I love the pearl with the disc since my sororities gem is the pearl. It's also a bit easier on the wallet during little gifts. The only thing I don't like so much is the string that it's on. It's either full plastic based or coated is something like plastic. After wearing it a bit various areas along the necklace have bent and seem as if they may break.Pros:
